Harlem back enrolls at Lincoln County
A starting running back for Harlem has transferred to Lincoln County less than a week after the Red Devils’ 69-6 victory over the Bulldogs.
Lincoln County coach Larry Campbell confirmed that sophomore Mike McIntire has enrolled at the school and is attending classes. Campbell said McIntire has not practiced with the team because the Georgia High School Association has not made a determination on his eligibility.
Coming off a strong 2010 season, McIntire ran for 60 yards on 10 carries Friday night.
Harlem coach Jimmie Lewis declined to comment.
