The Richmond County Chamber of Commerce and community members gathered at TRG Sign Company Friday morning for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and official grand opening celebration.
The company, owned by Joel Padgett and Steve Davis, began as a part-time venture in Davis’ garage about a year ago.
“Our first big job was for the Habitat Re-Store and, after that, everything just kind of snowballed,” said Davis. “We really didn’t expect the business to grow like it has.”
The business specializes in the design and creation of custom signs, banners, window lettering, light box signs, static clings, A-Frame signs, digital printing, vehicle lettering, custom vehicle graphics, aluminum signs, magnetic signs, wood signs, custom logos and more.
Dan Brown is the graphic design consultant for the organization.
“We appreciate all the support we’ve received from the community,” said Padgett. “We want to help businesses advertise with the perfect signage in the most effective way possible. We will work with you to design and create the desired product, on time and on budget.”
“Our goal is to satisfy our customers’ business identity needs by building a close working relationship from the beginning to the end of a project,” said Davis. “We’re here to turn ideas into ideals.”
